Facials
No some peels need be avoided in the hottest summer period. You must not have a peel a month prior and after a summer holiday to avoiding risk of pigmentation
A chemical peel is solution applied to the face to remove dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of new cells. The aim is to improve the appearance of the skin – for example, by reducing age spots and evening out skin tone giving it an illuminating glow. There are 3 types of peels, called superficial, medium and deep. Depending on your skin concerns we will chose the best one suitable. Most of the time our peels are either Glycolic, salicylic, lactic and malic acid.
Depending on what facial/peel you have some normal reaction is peeling of the skin. Please ask us this at time of booking to manage your expectations.
For 24hours we advise against wearing makeup as it could affect the results of the facial. Some tinted sun blocks are acceptable to use.
Micro needling is a treatment where the therapist needles over the skin using a Derma pen and tiny needles- tiny micro channels in the skin are created which in tune allow the penetration of ingredients to the dermal level and also stimulating the fibroblast cell which makes collagen and elastin fibres. This treatment stimulates type 1 collagen, which is the young, dewy, soft and flexible collagen that we are born with.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids. These proteins are the foundations of your skin and are responsible for its texture, strength and resilience. Our skin needs peptides, without peptides, our skins collagen and elastin is less intact which can lead to loss of elasticity, wrinkled and dull looking skin.
Ideally the best results would be to shave the evening before your appointment so we can treat the whole face. If you have a beard and don’t want to shave we can only treat where there is little/no hair.
Book a facial that is an hour slot and we can Address your concerns in the consultation and decide what is suitable for you.

Yes you can from day 1. If you have any previous complication we would prefer to avoid. Some people prefer to avoid waxing for the first 3 months but each client is an individual.
Don’t trim before you come and avoid sun beds and sun exposure 48hrs prior.
About a cm+ but from shaving allow 2-3 weeks for a decent growth.
Make sure you have Sudo cream at home to help with any sensitivity. Gym/ running and going on the bicycle should not be done For 24-48 hrs depending on your skin sensitivity. Also do not have any heat treatments (sun) swimming, self tan, and anything that can give friction to the area should be avoided.
If you are new to waxing yes. This is unavoidable as although we can get all the surface hairs (minus ingrown and ones 1mm long!). We cannot control the hairs that are growing under the skin (new growth). However after a couple of months all the follicles will have their growth cycle reset and there shouldn’t be much at all.
